"I'm a pout-pout fish with a pout-pout face..."
Well I couldn't resist after seeing so many darling wide mouth fish made from the pinch pot method...had to dive in!  Oh and of course find a perfect book to make a splash with our art project!
(found this on pinterst)

  2. Debbie Diesen,
What an honor to have you post a comment! My students LOVED your book and were easily inspired by the adorable fish. If you are ever in Arkansas let us know, or we would love to have you come and present and do book signings at my state reading conference for the Arkansas Reading Association. I am on the board and if you are ever interested it is in Little Rock at the Peabody and State House Convention Center in November. You can look at our site on the web at www.arareading.org. Again, thank you so much. My students will be so excited to see your post! Happy Reading! Julie

  3. Julie, thank you for your kind words! I'm so glad your students enjoyed the story! And thank you for the invitation. I've never been to Arkansas, but I'd love to be considered for presenting at the Arkansas Reading Association conference -- if not this year (I assume you're probably pretty fully booked already; and I have a tentative commitment in that time range this year) then perhaps down the road a bit. It would be a joy. Thanks again! Enjoy the summer.

    1. Next year would be great Debbie! Please email me your contact information to Caroline Schenk. She is next years Conference Chair and on the board with me. Tell her I asked you to send your information, she will probably already know your books as well.
